FOUNDER & CHIEF ADVISORY CONSULTANT
Heather Haygood is a Leadership Strategist, Executive Coach, and Change Advisor who helps organizations build human-centered leaders who can perform under pressure, lead through change, and translate leadership insight into real-world performance.
Heather has always been a high-performing leader who did not fit the traditional mold. Throughout her career, she saw capable leaders struggle not because they lacked skill, but because the human side of leadership was often treated as secondary—especially during times of change. Rather than forcing herself into outdated expectations of what leadership “should” look like, she leaned into authenticity, clarity, and presence, ultimately building HMH Solutions to help other leaders do the same.
With more than 15 years of senior leadership experience, Heather partners with organizations, K-12 districts, and higher education institutions to build emotionally intelligent, change-ready leaders who can move people through change—not just understand it in theory. She also teaches Mastering Leadership Through Emotional Intelligence at Boise State University, bringing a practical, research-grounded approach to every room she enters.
Heather is known for blending strategic insight with a deeply human approach to leadership development. She is the creator of the EQ Mastery Cycle©, the Human-Centered Leadership System©, and the ALIGN Change Leadership System©, proprietary frameworks designed to close the gap between leadership insight and real-world performance.
