Meet Our Founder

An accomplished leader, Heather Haygood has held many top-level positions, most recently as Dean of Academic Affairs, Executive Director, and Director of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs. At HMH, she leverages her vast experience and knowledge to help others navigate the challenges all leaders inevitably face.  

As a young leader, Heather received feedback from a direct report: "You instill confidence in your employees." At this moment, as the supervisor of Harvard graduates and people with 15+ years more work experience, it became clear that leadership doesn't come down to age, credentials, or title. Leadership is about empowerment. 

Leaders can either instill confidence or destroy it—far too often, it’s the latter. As a result, Heather is passionate about cultivating leaders who can create the organizational shifts necessary to provide foundations of trust, authenticity, and empowerment for themselves, their organizations, and the people they lead.  

Aside from her corporate experience, Heather has a natural ability to connect with others authentically. She also enjoys being in the classroom and partners with Boise State University's Professional and Continuing Education Department to teach "The Emotionally Intelligent Leader," a custom-built course by HMH Solutions. 

As a lifelong learner, she has also invested in training and certifications to grow her toolkit and ensure maximum impact when working with leaders and teams.

Kelly is dedicated to the practice of maximizing talent. Kelly takes a thoughtful, inquisitive approach to engaging clients, which organically empowers productive and healthy collaboration. With over 10 years' experience in talent development and employee engagement, Kelly brings a vetted yet progressive energy to both individual and team development experiences. Kelly has her SHRM-CP, is certified by the Human Capital Institute in Strategic Workforce Planning, and has a Bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis in Sociology.

REBECCA SOBOLEWSKI

Client Experience Specialist

Rebecca has a love for helping people achieve their very best. She is an attentive listener who is devoted to assisting others build confidence in their skills while finding resolutions to areas they are seeking to improve. Her positive energy overflows into others which keeps them actively engaged in learning.

Rebecca has more than two decades of teaching experience, including five years as an educational mentor which earned her the Mentor of the Year Award from Boise State University. She enjoyed coaching new instructors for seven years on the foundations of teaching, building relationships and professional culture, and time-management. This helped her earn the award of Instructor of the Year at Northwest Lineman College. Rebecca has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a minor in Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She also holds a John C. Maxwell Leadership certification and a Nutritional Therapy Practice certificate.
